FRUIT PRESS LANCMAN VSX

Product number: 15951

LANCMAN water presses are easy to use, operate without electricity, and provide a high juice yield. By connecting them to a water supply, the fruit mash is gently pressed by a membrane, and the juice quickly flows into the collection container. Models are available for home and semi-professional use. With the use of a special de-sludging bag, the presses can also be used for wine filtration and pomace pressing, which extends their usefulness in the cellar.

What is a water press?
Water presses are devices for pressing fruit (apples, pears, grapes, berries) in the production of juice, must or wine. They use water pressure from the water supply system, which inflates the inner membrane and gently presses the fruit against the perforated basket. This way, juice is extracted from the fruit without effort and without electricity.

Operates on the principle of mains water pressure – required pressure 3 bar – 4 bar (depending on the model). Completely simple, fast, and efficient pressing… The process can take as little as 15 minutes… Lightweight design, with lid, bowl, and basket made of stainless steel, ensuring easy cleaning and long service life…

VSX version:

  • Fixed base for stability during operation.

  • Three legs with two wheels allow easy movement of the press around the room.

  • Pressure regulator ensures automatic operation and safe use.

Basic equipment:
- pressure regulator (1-4 bar) for automatic pressing (more in instructions of the press),
- additional plastic bag for protection at pressing (cover of the press),
- green filter net for easier pressing and emptying of the press,
- transport wheels for easier moving of the press.

Additional equipment:
- filter bag for wine filtering.

Advantages of water presses LANCMAN

  • Easy to use – simply connect to a regular water tap.

  • High efficiency – thanks to even pressure, a large amount of juice is extracted.

  • No electricity – the press works only with water, making it suitable even for small households.

  • Quick cleaning – the simple construction allows for easy disassembly and washing.

  • Various sizes – available as models for home use (smaller quantities of fruit) and larger presses for semi-professional fruit growers.

How to use a water press

  1. The fruit is first milled or crushed.

  2. The basket is filled with the fruit pulp.

  3. By connecting to the water supply, the membrane begins to expand and presses the fruit against the walls.

  4. The juice drains through the sieve into a collecting container, while the residue remains in the basket.

Frequently Asked Questions

"How should I press apples, white grapes, and red grapes?"

With these presses, it is important to understand that they are not automatic, so specifying an hourly pressing capacity is irrelevant. The pressing time varies depending on the type of fruit.

Apples must be ground before pressing. Pressing the ground apples is very fast – one pressing cycle can be completed in about 30 minutes. Pressing is carried out at high pressure.

For red grapes, it must be taken into account that the crushed grapes need to rest for 2–3 days before pressing. Afterwards, pressing is very easy and fast – up to 30 minutes, also at high pressure.

For white grapes, it is important that they are pressed immediately after crushing to prevent discoloration (oxidation). For better pressing results and to prevent oxidation, it is recommended to add enzymes to the crushed mass, which help break down the grape skins and thus allow faster pressing. If this is not done, white varieties must be pressed slowly at low pressure, which can take 2 hours or more.
