The LANCMAN SX-23/730 splitting grapple is a hydraulic attachment suitable for splitting long logs and trunks. It is primarily designed for pre-splitting thicker logs before further processing, such as chipping or feeding into automatic cutting-and-splitting machines where maximum log diameter is limited. With its high splitting force, it enables efficient and fast splitting of even demanding, hard wood, while at the same time reducing the load on the chipper or splitter during further processing.
